At BFAST, our mission is to educate, train, insure, and bring awareness to African Americans who wish to exercise their Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.

It's a fact that urban community members are among the ones who are less educated in regards to the laws around gun control.  Therefore, it's our duty to bring awareness to these community members, as well as provide a way for us to assist with defending life, liberty and property.  This does not eliminate any particular creed, religion, race, or origin of any type, from participating or becoming a member of "BFAST".

We empower African Americans to understand the Second Amendment, exercise their Constitutional rights to keep and bear arms, and become confident gun owners throught dedicated safety and awareness training programs.  Firearms safety is the foundation of responsible gun ownership.  Understanding proper handling, storage and situational awareness helps protect you, your loved ones, and your community.  We urge everyone to become a member, receive the education, get trained and become insured, in order to properly deal with the unforeseen events that may arise.

Gun laws constantly change, and as a law-abiding citizen, and a registered gun owner, you can easily find yourself in jail and on the wrong side of the law, just because the lack of information in this complicated web of gun laws in the state of California.  Enough is enough, and it's time to protect life, property and liberty----legally.
